Dan and Don talk about Ro-Mac's early days, and what it takes to stand the test of time.
Founded by H. D. “Buck” Robuck and his two brothers after World War II, Ro-Mac Lumber began life as a single, stand-alone lumber location, located just off of East Main Street in Leesburg, Florida.
Today, 70 years later, Ro-Mac Lumber is recognized as one of the largest independent building material dealers in the state of Florida with locations in Leesburg, Mount Dora, The Villages and Ocala, which operate nine various businesses in retail, installation, design and manufacturing.
Ro-Mac currently operates the only truss fabrication and engineering plant, as well as a door and moulding plant, in Leesburg. The company prides itself by offering everything a homeowner needs to construct a home. From the foundation to the rooftop, Ro-Mac and its various operations can supply all of your structural building material needs for your next residential or commercial project.
No other building supply company in Lake or Sumter County is more attached with closer ties to this area than Ro-Mac Lumber. The company has been supplying materials for homes and remodels for generations of Central Floridians. Your patronage and support for over 70 years is appreciated and the team at Ro-Mac Lumber says, “Thank You.”
